Terms
Made to order, with clear expectations.
These terms apply to requests and orders placed with AIKA Patisserie. They are designed to keep the personal, made-to-order process clear for everyone.

Order requests
Submitting a website cart or custom-cake form creates a request only. It does not reserve a date, create a confirmed order or require AIKA Patisserie to accept the request.
Confirmation
An order is confirmed only after the chef has reviewed availability and AIKA Patisserie has sent written confirmation. The patisserie may contact you for clarification or propose an alternative pickup time, design or product.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT. The confirmed price may change only where you agree to changes in size, design or scope. Once confirmed, you receive an invoice and payment instructions, normally 1–2 days before pickup. Payment may also be made by debit card on collection when offered.
Pickup
AIKA Patisserie does not offer delivery. All orders are collected in Westergouwe, 2809 VE Gouda, at the confirmed date and time. The confirmation email includes the exact pickup address and appointment instructions. Please transport cakes level, cool and with care. Risk passes to the customer when the order is collected.
Changes and cancellation
Requests to change or cancel an order should be made by email or WhatsApp at least 14 days before the confirmed pickup date. Changes are subject to availability and are valid only after written acceptance by AIKA Patisserie. Bespoke work already performed or costs already incurred may not be refundable.
Allergens
Product pages identify known allergens where possible. The kitchen at AIKA Patisserie handles ingredients including gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts and soy. Although care is taken, the patisserie cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or exclude cross-contact. Tell the chef about allergies before confirmation.
Custom creations
Inspiration images communicate a direction rather than an exact copy. Handmade products may naturally vary in colour, decoration, placement and finish. AIKA Patisserie may adapt a design to preserve quality, stability and its own craftsmanship.
Quality and responsibility
Please inspect the order at collection and raise visible concerns immediately. AIKA Patisserie is not responsible for damage caused after collection by transport, handling, temperature or storage contrary to the supplied guidance. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies. The parties will first try to resolve concerns directly and reasonably before submitting a dispute to the competent court.
